University of Nigeria, Nsukka Students Union Government (UNN-SUG), is holding congress today to deliberate the over 100% increment in new session school fees.
The school fees increment has greeted a lot of controversies since the proposed fees was circulated. Students in every faculty both in Nsukka and Enugu campuses took to the campus to protest their grievances.
A document of the proposed fees revealed that new students are to pay over a hundred thousand naira fee while returning students pay from N83,000 and above depending on the faculty.
The venue of Congress is at Faculty of Social Science Association (FOSSA) hall.
