A Nigerian physician, Dr. Chinonso Egemba better known as Aproko Doctor, has revealed through his social media handle how he battled with a brain tumor.
He shared this in a video on January 16th, 2023, where he recalled how he had to battle for his life throughout December.
His ardent followers did not know that he had been fighting for his dear life. It was revealed that he almost went blind in one of his eyes on December 3rd and was diagnosed with a brain tumor on the 5th of December, two days after going nearly blind.
He added that the situation was beyond his control and had to go for a surgery he described successful.
However, it was observed that during the battle for his health, he was consistent in uploading his video contents on his media pages.

“Throughout December 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of December 2022, and on the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Today I stand here before you to share my story.
“It has been a long road to recovery, but each day is better than the last. The full story of how this brain tumor affected me and my family is up on my YouTube,” he said.
Aproko Doctor added in the video that everyone can experience health issues. The physician who is widely loved for his health-related content, revealed that he underwent the brain surgery here in Nigeria, and was operated on by Dr. Tayo Ojo.
“It was Dr. Tayo Ojo, a neurosurgeon here in Nigeria that did the surgery. So many people begged me to leave the country and get the surgery done but something kept me back here because I still had trust in us. We just need more investment in our health sector”.
He said people wanted him to do the surgery outside the country but he declined because he still believes in the Nigerian health sector.
