Papa Ajasco, Popular Nigeria Veteran Actor Reportedly Dead

Femi Ogunrobi aka Papa Ajasco, a television actor on Sunday 15th of January 2023 was reportedly dead.

This was made known by Husseini Shaibu, a theater practitioner and journalist on his Twitter handle.

He was popularly known for his comic role in Wale Adenuga’s comedy series Papa Ajasco where he took the role of Mr Abiodun Ayoyinka.

He was a student of Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Music and Drama as of early 80s.

He was well known for a Choral group he founded back in the university which he named ‘The Ayoro Voices’ between 1980s.

He was a music instructor, a director and film producer.

Mind you, they were two different characters used for Papa Ajasco in Wale Adenuga’s series, the other Papa Ajasco is alive and has come out to clarify that he’s not dead. Meanwhile, Mr Femi Ogunrobi is the one who’s dead and not Mr Abiodun Ayoyinka.
