No School Fees Increment, UNN Students Declares

University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) students have unanimously voted for no increment of school fees, following a congress held in the early hours of today.

The congress was a result of increment in tuition fees for all students at various levels.

In a document signed by Abuchi Michael the President of the Students Union Government (SUG) , it contained, “Following the General Students Congress held today 4th December 2022. The sitting of the house resolved that:

“1. School fees payment should be stopped at all levels until the issues concerning the school fees increment are completely settled.

“2. A five man committee of student present at the meeting was set up to work with the Union to completely analyze fees increment and make sustainable minimal increments.
